		<description>Another tip worth mentioning, if you consider buying reference monitors . Don&#039;t spend all your money on the speakers and get some room acoustic treatment for your control room. Even the local hardware store would do, to buy some building materials for panel absorbers. It&#039;s really not that expensive. All money on speakers would be wasted if your room is untreated and sounds like :*i+.
And tip No.2: don&#039;t start EQ&#039;ing your speaker&#039;s frequency response like crazy, that&#039;s gonna make things much worse and you mess up the phase correlation of your speakers, thus you create comb filtering and get dips/peaks in the response next to the treated frequencies.
